  • catsup (ketchup) or walnut pickle

Mince the meat very finely & mix it up with bread crumbs, sliced onions, a chopped anchovy, parsley, pepper & salt, a little catsup or walnut pickle. Stir the mince over the fire with a little butter & when cold enough make it up into large oval balls. Egg the balls & roll them in crumbs of bread, brown them before the fire & pour some gravy upon the dish.
