The situation of Boston excellent, the quays & warehouses commodious - & it has altogether rather an English appearance. Went in the afternoon to the cemetery at Mount Arthur. Had a glimpse of Cambridge University, & of Bunkers Hill Monument. I begin to feel very near England.
