Canterbury Pudding

Canterbury Pudding

 

  • Half a pound of beef suet
  • Half a pound of lard grated
  • A glass of Brandy,
  • the juice of one lemon & the peel cut very fine.
  • 2 eggs

 

Mix up all these ingredients with two eggs well beaten, & put them into a mould or basin, & let the pudding boil two hours. Serve it up with a little brandy sauce or plain butter - either will be good.
