For a cough

 

Take Burgundy pitch yellow beeswax Venice turpentine of each 2 ounces. Oyle of mace one Ounce Rosin one Ounce. Melt all these together then spred it upon new Sheeps Leather cut in the shape of a heart & scrape a lettel Nutmegg on it and lay it warm upon the Stomach.
